The update to version 1.0.1 of RemoteNote makes some significant changes to the UI as well as adding a few new features. One new feature is that the app is now password protected.

When you open RemoteNote on your SpringBoard, you will see a field for both a username and password. The default username and password are both remotenote. To change them, just type in a new username and password. Now, when you open your notes via a browser, it will ask you for your username and password before it will let you access the page. Once you are into the page, you will notice a completely new UI.

Version 4.0 of TouchPad Pro adds a new ScreenView feature! You are now able to see what you are controlling with your iPhone, on your iPhone! So, instead of just a blank screen with controls on it….you actually see the screen of what you are controlling! However, this feature is only available through activating the app. Activation costs $15. Check out the video below for a demo of what the ScreenView feature looks like. Raging Thunder is a seriously sweet new game! I’m not going to do a full review of it because Doug is making a video. However, I will tell you that it is an arcade style racing game based on the accelerometer.

Snapture is a favorite among many of you…including Doug and I…so updates are always exciting! Well, version 1.4 of Snapture adds an option in the Settings menu that allows you to choose how long of delay you would like on the timer. I think this is a great feature!

Periodic Table is exactly what you would expect it to be…a Periodic Table. The app will open to the main screen which lists all of the elements on the Periodic Table in Alphabetical order. What is cool is that you can change the list to Symbols and search based on the Element’s symbol (in Alphabetical order)! If you tap on an Element that is in the list…

The update to BossPrefs 1.66 does exactly what I was hoping it would do!! It fixes the Phone toggle so that it works with AT&T (contract carriers). I tried it and it works great! Though, there is one small issue but you will have to read about in a few sentences so make sure you read carefully! I am going to quote the Developer for the rest of the update info because he says exactly what I was going to say about the update!

I LOVE this game!! I played it for WAY too long before writing this post! If you have been around for awhile and remember when I did a post on TextTwist than you know exactly what Lexitron is. Only Lexitron is available through the Installer instead of a manual install! However, I will do a complete review of the app again…since it is slightly different.

BossPrefs 1.64 & 1.65

There have been a few updates (two three that is) to BossPrefs in the last few days. The updates have added the ability to toggle (turn on/off) Airplane mode and Phone. If you toggle the Phone off…it will disable your phone but will keep your Wifi active. Unless of course you toggle that off too and in that case you would probably just turn your entire phone off! :) Anyway, I can’t seem to get the Phone toggle to work.
