Yesterday, Mobile Substrate was update to version 0.9.3051-1. I do not have a complete change log on the update. However, saurik did say that the update to Mobile Substrate fixes Cyntact’s crashing issues on firmware 3.1. Let me know in the comments if you know of any other changes. [Read more…]
SMS Helper Update – Redesigned

SMS Helper, an mod that counts the number of characters as you type a text messages, was update to version 0.2. The update does make some changes to the mod.
The counter has been slightly redesigned and implemented a little differently. The counter is still located on the Send button however, the numbers seem to be bigger, brighter and clearer and it now displays how many characters are left until you reach 160 and how many times you have gone past 160 (example 47/2 = 47 characters until you have reached 160 characters twice which would send in two text messages). 1Shoot is a Camera application that gives you three shot options; Steady, Touch and Timer.
A double-tap on the screen will bring you to the menu. Here you will find the three shot options (Timer, Touch and Steady). In the Timer mode you have two pre-set times available to choose from; 5 seconds and 10 seconds. The Steady option also has two modes to choose from regular and car mode.
Once you take a picture, the image is added to the bottom of the screen as a thumbnail. You can view the full size image by tapping on the thumbnail once. If you decide you would like to keep one of the photos, you can save it to your Camera Roll by double-tapping it.
