The update to version 4.21 of Touchpad Pro fixes a bug. In the previous version of this application when you used the volume control while in the application, it affected the main volume. Version 4.21 fixes it so that when you use the volume buttons, it will not change the system volume.

From iPod Touch Fans to BigBoss
Skylar has recently taken his iPod Touch Fans source out of Community Sources due to the fact that has does not have the time necessary to keep up with it.
In doing this, BigBoss is now hosting the applications from the iPod Touch Fans source. Below is the list of applications that have been moved to the BigBoss source.
iZoo – Fun game in the style of Zoo Keeper/Bejeweled.
NOIZ2SA. – Exciting sidescroller shooter game.
Port of NOIZ2SA
JGoogle 1.1
JGoogle is a full screen Safari browser developed by Jake Wolpert. When you start the application, you are able to type a web address. YOU MUST INCLUDE “HTTP://”. The web site that you entered will open without the safari top and bottom buttons.
Basically, it is just a clean website. The downside is that you can only open one webpage at a time.
The other downside is that you cannot view the webpage in landscape view. Overall, I prefer just using Safari. I do not see any point of removing the top and bottom bar while losing all the features that make Safari great. You can get JGoogle from the BigBoss source. Check out the screen shots below.
PocketTouch 1.3
I received an email from Skylar, the developer of PocketTouch, giving me some information about the update to PocketTouch. However, lets go over the changes first.
The first thing I noticed when opening PocketTouch is that it has a slightly new look, making it even more polished than the previous version. If you select the “i” icon and go into the Settings, you will also see a few new options. [Read more…]
Switch-It 1.1-2
Switch-It is similar to Visualize 2.0. Switch-It changes your Calculator, iTunes and Installer icons to the 2.0 versions of the icons. Changing the Installer icon to the AppStore icon. It will also changes the actual Calculator to the 2.0 version of the Calculator. When you open the application, you will get a menu with two options; Lets Do it or Exit. If you select Lets Do it will bring up a menu with the options; Make It 2.
0, Go Back to Normal, Help and Exit.
You can then select Make It 2.0 which will bring up another pop-up informing you that your iPhone now looks like 2.
0 and a button to Exit and Respring. If you would like to go back to the stock icons, [Read more…]
SugarTracker 1.5.1
I was surprised to see an update for SugarTracker in the Installer because according to the developer, version 1.5 was going to be the last update to the application. However, then I went back a realized version 1.5 was going to be the “last major release” for the application. So, that explains that! The update should fix the issue that a lot of you were having with the app opening and then closing back to the SpringBoard. There are a few other changes such as [Read more…]
Touchpad Pro 4.11
According to the developer, the update to Touchpad Pro “…fixed a bug where for large monitors (eg Apple 30″) with very large vertical resolutions, you couldn’t scroll below a certain threshold.” Hopefully the fix will help some of you!
I do not have a monitor large enough to test it out on so, you will have to let me know in the comments if the fix is working correctly!
Touchpad Pro is available through the BigBoss source.
SpoofAPP 2.0
This is another application that I have held off on trying for a few updates now. Jacob did a review of SpoofAPP a while back but, it’s time to give it another go and man is the new interface nice. When you first open SpoofAPP you will need to create a username and password and go through a few set-up steps (see screenshots below). Once you have done this, you will get a pin number and five minutes free so that you can test out the application. You will notice that there is a new lower menu bar in which you have the following options; Settings, Buy Minutes, Keypad, Contacts and Recents. There are a ton of options in the Settings including [Read more…]
JCalc 1.0
JCalc is an extended calculator application. When you open the app, you will get a splashscreen of a Dalmatian (yes, the dog…it’s totally random). From here you will see a Calculator. When you enter a function into the calculator, it will display it on the screen above the calculator.
However, once the function scroll off the screen you can not see them anymore. It would be great if you could scroll the display screen.
You can see the rest of the calculator options by [Read more…]
iPlot 0.52
iPlot is a graphing calculator on the iPhone! I think the last time I used a graphing calculator was in High School and I’m not sure I really understood it then! So, I will do my best. Here is a description, via the developer, of what the app does.
“Program draws mathematical functions. It can find roots, minimum, maxium and integrals of functions. You can also draw derivate of functions. You can add up to 20 functions to graph. IPlot has a lot of different elementary functions.

Raging Thunder 0.7.1
The major update to version 0.7.1 of Ranging Thunder is that the Championship Mode now works! In Championship mode you are able to pick a car, buy tires, upgrade the engine, make the car more aerodynamic and pick the race track. However, most of the upgrades cost money so, you will have to win a few races before you get any fancy stuff. Another new features it that when you are in the menu and you close the app, it will open to where you were in the menu instead of starting at the beginning like it did in the previous version.
There was also a suspend/resume code added to the app which means when you get a phone call while you are playing, the game will pause and then pick up where it left off when the call is over. In my opinion, [Read more…]
