Over the week-end WeatherIcon, a mod that displays the current temperature and weather conditions in the Weather icon, received two updates. The first, version 2.2.5, made the application compatible with the 3.1 firmware… which I know many of you have been waiting for! The second update, version 2.2.6, fixed a bug that when you turned the weather icon part of the mod off in the Settings, the Weather icon would go blank. Below is the exact change log. [Read more…]

The Dev-Team has added a few updates to their 
Cydia has had two updates since yesterday to version 1.0.3032-62 and 1.0.3044-65. I do not see any visual changes to Cydia with the updates.
We get quite a few Press Releases in our email everyday… this one caught me eye. Apparently Sabec, a London based company, has developed a video camera application called VideoCam. They claim that the application allows video recording capability on the iPhone 2G and 3G. Apparently VideoCam is currently in review by Apple and will be released “at a very affordable price.
Yesterday, Doug received a tweet saying that our AppleiPhoneSchool email subscription was not working so he took a look at it and indeed it was not working. However, he fixed it last night and it is now working properly. We apologize to those of you who tried to sign up for our emails and were unable to. You can sign up to receive AppleiPhoneSchool’s emails using the sign-up on the right side bar of the website.
