There were a few mods today in Cydia but, I’m only going to point out a few of them. Two themes, one battery mod and one lock screen mod. The two themes Laying on the Grass (via iSpazio) and Black and Teal (via modmyi) are both very unique themes. The battery mod, Battery Colors (via modmyi), is a simple mod of the stock battery that will change the color of your battery based on percentage (red, yellow, green, blue). Finally the lock screen mod, Tinker Bell Lockscreen (via BigBoss), is a very nicely designed lock screen mod including the battery, slider and wallpaper. Below are the screenshots of each mod. I have noticed that there have been quite a few Battery mods in Cydia lately so, I thought I would show you a few of them. You can find them under the Themes (Battery) section in Cydia.
The batteries are displayed in the following order (I included the source they are from as well); Fire (via iSpazio), Blue Fire Battery (via iSpazio), Vista Battery (via iSpazio), Ubuntu Logo Battery (via iSpazio), Spiderman Battery (via BigBoss) and Billiard Ball Battery (via BigBoss).

I was totally stoked when I was checking out our News page (which Doug updates) and saw that mophie is working on their Juice Pack for the 3G iPhone! The Juice Pack is a really nice, sleek, battery extender for the iPhone and iPod Touch. There are a ton of great features with the Juice Pack but one of the nicest features is that you can still plug your iPhone into your computer while the Juice Pack is on via mini USB (which is provided when you purchase a Juice Pack). This allows you to sync and charge both your iPhone and/or the Juice Pack while it is on your iPhone.
Another thing I noticed is that they have stepped up the performance a little from the Juice Pack for the First Gen iPhone giving you even more battery life for the iPhone 3G. However, the price has not changed. The Juice Pack for the iPhone 3G is $99.95 and is available for pre-order. They start shipping the product on October 30th…just in time for the Holidays!!

The update to version 1.1 of MyBattery activates the Settings option. In the previous version of MyBattery, the Settings option was not available yet. In the Settings you will find a quite a few options including; the ability to change the colors of the Background, Font and Warning; the ability to toggle on/off the Internal and Headset Battery Image, Detailed Info (that is the information below the battery that displays the percentage of the battery), Charging Info and the ability to change the font size; the ability to turn on/off the refresh timers detailed info, adjust the timers refresh rate (from 5 seconds to 60 second) and adjust the refresh timer’s font size and the ability to restore all the settings. MyBattery is a simple application that displays information about your battery. When you open the app, you will see a your current battery and below it will be your battery percentage and whether or not your battery is charging. The application will update every 10 seconds. Which means, to avoid battery drain, do not leave the application open for long periods of time. The update to iToday adds only a few new features. You are now able to choose what format you would like the date/time to be displayed in and there are two new themes in the Themes section. I personally like IntelliScreen but, I’m curious to know which you prefer iToday or IntelliScreen. iToday is available through the Skrew source.
