hClipboard – Copy and Paste Application

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

hclipboard I wrote, a few days ago, that we would soon be seeing a new copy and paste application. It was actually released the next day! Well, I have finally had a chance to check it and so far, I like it.

When you install hClipboard, you will first need to enable it in your Settings. To do so, go into your stock Settings application, General, Keyboard, International Keyboards and then turn on hClipboard. Now, in order to use the application you will need to be in an app that uses the keyboard…for example Notes. To enable hClipboard, select the Globe icon on your Keyboard. You will now see the hClipboard keyboard.

Lock Calendar Lock Calendar is a simple application that allows you to display your upcoming calendar events on your lock screen. When you install Lock Calendar, your events will automatically start to display on your lock screen…you do not turn the app on via WinterBoard. It will display your next ten upcoming events. The events are categorized by date and also display the time and title of the event. The app has a decent design and showed up nicely on all the wallpapers that I tested. [Read more…]

Lights Off Development Finished, Coming to App Store Soon

Coming Soon: App Store       Price: Unknown

Lights OffThe developer has announced he is finished with the development of Lights Off and it should be in the App Store very soon. He’s launched a website (www.lightsoffapp.com) to promote the app and there’s even an iPhone version of the site. We’ll make sure to let you know as soon as it is out!

Lights off is a strategy game that was one of the first games ever in the jailbreak community. The object of this game is to get all of the lights to go off. When you click on a box it affects the four boxes around it. When you get all the lights to go off, or “win,” it takes you to the next stage. See our original review of Lights Off for more info.

Though, I did hear that the iPod Touch got a nice processor increase making it faster than the iPhone! Very cool! Anyway, no need to sulk over not having Street View on your iPod Touch any longer! Last night, Street View Enabler showed up in Cydia. It seems that if you are on firmware 2.2 (BE SURE YOU ARE ON FIRMWARE 2.2, or newer, BEFORE INSTALLING!!) you can install Street View Enabler and join in the fun. If you gave it a try, let me know in the comments how it is working for you.
