AgileMessenger 1.0.16 – Multi Service Chat Application

This is the mobile messaging application we’ve all been waiting for. AgileMessenger is a multi service chat application that includes ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo!, Jabber and GoogleTalk. This application is smooth, works over edge or wifi, has tons of features, runs in the background more. Yes, running in the background is going to effect your battery but this can be changed in the Preferences. The interface is great and the tab feature works great.
My only complaint is the sound effects. The current sound is a little annoying and once a sound is made my audio becomes all muffled. It would be sweet if each service had their own original sound effect. I made a quick video to show you how great this really is. You can get AgileMessenger through the ModMyiFone source.

AppleTap 1.5

The update to AppleTap 1.5 once again makes quite a few changes to the application. Not only does the app have a new icon, it has a new splash screen as well. When you open the application, you will also notice that the Featured Page has been updated and looks much cleaner (I like that it is all roundy now!). VideoPlayback 1.2

VideoPlayback is an application that will loop videos that are placed in the ~/Media/VideoPlayback folder on your iPhone. The first thing you will need to do after installing the application is SSH in and create a folder titled VideoPlayback in your ~Media folder on your iPhone. On 1.1.3 and above it will look like this – ~var/Mobile/Media/VideoPlayback. On 1.1.2 and below, it will look like this – ~var/root/Media/VideoPlayback. SpeedRun 1.2

The update to SpeedRun 1.2, a Labyrinth style game, makes a few changes to the application. When the application opens, you will notice that the lower menu bar has changed.

Instead of the middle options being Replays it has been changed to Players (though, don’t worry, the replays haven’t been removed from the application!). When you click on players, you are able to Rename the local player (that is you) by selecting Rename in the upper left corner. The update to version 1.4 of AppleTap makes a few changes to the application. The first change you will notice is a new icon. Once the application is open, you will also notice that the Featured page as some additional information about the application. On the Apple page, when you select a product, there is a new option called Guided Tour. The Guided Tour option will open a video in YouTube with Apple’s guided tour about the product. AppleTap 1.1

AppleTap is an application that gives you information about Apple Products. AppleTap opens to the featured screen where you are given a list of Future Features and the developer’s Requests. If you select the Apple option on the lower menu bar, you will see a list of Apple’s current products. There is also a Classic category however, there is no information available in that category yet. In the Current category, if you tap on a product you will get more information about that product including; the Release Date, the Latest Update date, Pictures of the product and the option be directed to Apple’s website with more information about the product. It looks as though there will also be some pricing and configuration information available in the future. To get back to the main menu, tap Back in the upper left corner.

THTouch 0.30j

The update to version 0.30j (I missed version 0.30b) of THTouch gives the app a whole new look! Everything from the icon, splashscreen, help menu, cards, chips, move over-lays, the actual play screen…have all been redesigned. The actual game play seems to be the same however, the look of the application has definitely changed! Check out the screenshots below…there is also a demo video showing the new changes as well (it does not have audio). THTouch is available through the ModMyiFone source.

PowerManager 0.5 – WARNING, Kind of

Do not install this application. I have tried several times to install PowerManager and each time I do, my iPhone gets stuck on the spinning wheel of death. I try everything to get out of it but, I end up having to SSH in and delete the application folder.

Update: I tested this on another iPhone and it seems to be working fine. So, I tried it again on my iPhone and it still crashes it. It must be conflicting with another application. I would say install at your own discretion.

Paysage-Off is an application that allows you to turn the accelerometer in Safari off or on. I was really excited about this application because there are times, usually when laying in bed, when I would love to be able to turn of the accelerometer in Safari so that my browser doesn’t keeping turing!
