Maps Enhancer is an application that adds a few more options to the stock Maps app. Once installed, you can go into your stock Settings applications and you will find MapEnhancer.
The Maps Enhancer app adds the ability to keep your Maps cache and the ability to set the maximum zoom level for Standard, Satellite and Hybrid maps. The zoom levels range from 2 – 19, 2 being zoomed WAY out (I’m talking WAY out!) and 19 being zoomed in. You can also choose to go back to the default zoom setting. [Read more…]

An iPhone Dev Team Application has been released in Cydia. The application allows you to view the Dev-Team’s website, twitter account and torrents right in the application. It is an easy way to stay up-to-date on the Dev-Team. I did notice that the Torrents option doesn’t seem to work but, the other two options (Blog and Twitter) do. BigBoss has started a post to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress of BossPaper, a very cool wallpaper application. The article includes bug reports (when, if and how they will be fixed), feature requested (when, if and how they will be implemented) and closed out issue reports. iFall Theme is a theme that contains 35 gray icons, a wallpaper, dock, slider, page dots and status bar. The theme is missing a Maps icon. I checked the file for the theme and it doesn’t seem to include one which is kind of a bummer. The More Info for the theme says that there is a .psd file (template) but, I could find one. BigBoss recently released a new source in Cydia, bigbossbetarepo. The source will contain beta/alpha/test applications. This is not a repo that everyone will want to install. If you install the source, you need to be willing to test applications and give feedback about there performance. iProtect is a recently released security application for your iPhone or iPod Touch. It allows you to password protect applications, lock your SIM, disable the ability to move icons around on the SpringBoard, disable the application to delete application off the SprigBoard and the ability to disable the Home Button double-tap.
When you first open the application, you will need to enter a password and a security word. Once you are in the application, you can choose to lock All Applications, Unlock All Applications or choose to lock specific applications. You can lock both App Store and Cydia apps. [Read more…]

Once you install the application, and accept the agreement, you can enter the From Name, From email address, Subject, To Name and To Email address. Once all fields have been filled, select Next.
