Alphabet Air, by True Learning, is an interactive matching game that introduces toddlers to letter names and sounds.

If the toddler in your life is anything like the one in mine, they love to play games on your iPhone. I recently decided to take advantage of this and loaded Denver’s (that is my 2 and half year old son) iPhone with games that would reinforce the things he was already learning at home such as; letter names and sounds, shapes, numbers… etc. We decided to put Alphabet Air to the test and it passed with flying colors. Readdle Releases Cannons – Pirate-Themed Puzzle Game

Readdle announced Cannons about a month ago and it has finally hit the App Store. Cannons is a pirate-themed puzzle game. The object of the game is to rotate the tiles (which contain pieces of rope) to create fuses and thus fire cannons.

This is not the only game in the App Store with this same basic concept however, Cannons stands out among them with it’s well designed graphics and unique features. [Read more…]

Chipotle Releases App in App Store

Yesterday, Chipotle’s official application hit the App Store – Chipotle Ordering. I don’t know about you guys but, I seriously love Chipotle! Like seriously. So as you can imagine, I was totally stoked about the new app. The app allows you to find the nearest Chipotle restaurant, view the menu, learn more about Chipotle (and their quest to serve fresh, natural, organic products. YAY!) and pre-order your meal.

The interface is lovely and self explanatory. It is extremely easy to create your order exactly how you would like it… you are able to choose the exact toppings, sides and drinks you would like with your order. After you have selected everything you would like, it gives you a nice breakdown of what it will cost. I also love that you can create Favorites for quick ordering. [Read more…]

PrivaCy – Keep App Store Apps From Tracking Your Personal Information

Saurik recently released an application in Cydia called PrivaCy. PrivaCy is an application that allows you to “selectively opt-out of sending anonymous usage statistics” to certain providers such as; Flurry, Medialets, Mobclix and Pinch Media. Photogene On Sale $0.99 – Photo Editing App

Photogene is a very sweet photo editing application. I have actually been using BarginBin to keep an eye out for when this app would go on sale and today it did… I was totally pumped! Photogene, normally $2.99, is on sale for the week-end only for $0.99. Honestly, the app is worth the $2.99 price tag but how much cooler is it to get it for $0.99! Photogene has basically every editing tool you could ask for all within an amazing user interface. Seriously a must-have! Check out the full list of features below and some screenshots.
