Chipotle Releases App in App Store

Chipotle Yesterday, Chipotle’s official application hit the App Store – Chipotle Ordering. I don’t know about you guys but, I seriously love Chipotle! Like seriously. So as you can imagine, I was totally stoked about the new app. The app allows you to find the nearest Chipotle restaurant, view the menu, learn more about Chipotle (and their quest to serve fresh, natural, organic products. YAY!) and pre-order your meal.

The interface is lovely and self explanatory. It is extremely easy to create your order exactly how you would like it… you are able to choose the exact toppings, sides and drinks you would like with your order. After you have selected everything you would like, it gives you a nice breakdown of what it will cost. I also love that you can create Favorites for quick ordering. [Read more…]

Photogene On Sale $0.99 – Photo Editing App

Photogene Photogene is a very sweet photo editing application. I have actually been using BarginBin to keep an eye out for when this app would go on sale and today it did… I was totally pumped! Photogene, normally $2.99, is on sale for the week-end only for $0.99. Honestly, the app is worth the $2.99 price tag but how much cooler is it to get it for $0.99! Photogene has basically every editing tool you could ask for all within an amazing user interface. Seriously a must-have! Check out the full list of features below and some screenshots.

SlingPlayer Mobile 1.1 Now in App Store

SlingPlayer Mobile Version 1.1 of SlingPlayer Mobile was just approved by Apple and is now available in the App Store. the update does contain some new features (see list below) but still does not allow the app to work on 3G. The developers have submitted a version of the app that does allow it to work on 3G however, they have not heard back from Apple on that version of the app yet. Popup Blocker Update – Additional Pop Ups, 14 Day Trial

Popup Blocker Some where along the line I missed the update forPopup Blocker, an application that allows you to block/control the pop ups on your iPhone or iPod touch. As I’m going back through and reinstalling all my favorite apps (due to the fact that I shattered my iPhone a few days ago)… I realized that it had an update. So here you go, a little late!

The update to version 1.0.3 of Popup Blocker adds a few new features and includes a bug fixe. You are now able to block/control Push Notification pop ups and Call Permission Alert pop ups. The update also fixes an issue with the Wake on Alert option. Another new feature I noticed is that the app now has a 14 day trial… I’m pretty sure it didn’t have a trial in the previous version. However, if you use the 14 day trial, I guarantee you will be hooked and end up buying the app. At $0.99, it’s well worth it! You can get Popup Blocker via the modmyi source. [Read more…]

Discovery Channel Discovery Communications launches a Discovery Channel application in the App Store. It is a feature packed application that allows you to watch videos from some of Discovery’s top shows; Man vs. Wild, MythBusters, Dirty Jobs, Storm Chasers… etc. In addition to watching video clips from the shows, you can also view the TV schedule, find out more info about the show and meet the cast.

Other features of the app include; Latest Videos, News, Most Viewed Videos, Photo Galleries, Quizzes, TV Schedules and a Search option. There are also links to each show in iTunes where you can then purchase the full episodes. [Read more…]

i.TV It seems the the i.TV is going to be getting quite the update. Version 2.0 of the application is boasting all sorts of few new features including; Remote Control, TiVo Remote, New UI, Push Notifications and iTunes integration.

TomTom App Now Available in App Store – $99.99 in US

tomtomicon TomTom’s application has finally hit the App Store. The app is available for the US & Canada, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The cost of the app varies based on which location you need it for. The US & Canada compatible version of the application is $99.99.. see the list below for additional pricing options.

The application is compatible with both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS. The app boasts turn-by-turn directions as well as many other features (see list below). Streamer ZodTTD, the developer of psx4iphone and quake4iphone has been developing an App Store application called Streamer. Today, the app was approved by Apple. Streamer is an application that allows you to stream internet radio and television.

The application comes stock with 6 audio streams and 6 video streams. You can able to add a stream using the Bookmark option. Once a stream is playing; you can pause it, bookmark it and watch it using the Now Playing option. [Read more…]
